Sable

Sable! - One of Africa's iconic species, the regal Sable with their scimitar horns and pitch black coats rank as the most striking of all antelope on the continent.

Zambia is Sable country without a doubt and has produced bulls in the mid forties with ease. In 2006 a 53" monster was taken while open concession hunting has seen 45" on a regular basis. However the concession safaris are expensive with the best areas fully booked through 2010 and rates running at around the $20,000 mark.

We have the best access to Sable on privately owned land in Zambia and for the prices, these are the best hunts you will find for this magnificent antelope anywhere. Added to this you can take any number of other species and include a couple of days to hunt one of Zambia's other spectacular antelope, the Kafue Lechwe.
